Emmanuel lived with relatives following the death of his parents. He did not have the chance to attend school and was unhappy with his living situation. He ran away and lived on the streets of Kampala for 3 years until he was taken to live at Abaana’s New Life Homes. He is described as a reserved boy who participates well in the homes.
