James Nkalubo
15 years old
James lived with his grandmother as his parents could not afford to look after him. When his grandmother died he was left alone and could not trace his parents. He was 9 years old when he went to the streets to live. James tells his story:
”Life on the streets was harder than life at home. I spent three years on the streets. I prayed and God heard my prayers when I was taken to Abaana New Life Homes. Life in the homes has changed my life. I go to school, I am sure of food, I sleep on a soft and warm bed. I know one day I will finish my studies and become a lawyer with a very nice family.
I pray that God keeps providing for Abaana ministries because without them I have no one to look up to. They are my friends, brothers, sisters and my parents. May God bless you so much.”
