Sadly Umar has never seen his parents. At age 3 he was abandoned in a rubbish pit. A couple found Umar and took him to their home. Life seemed good but after a few years their attitude towards Umar changed and they started to mistreat him. One day Umar was brought to town and deserted at the taxi park. Life on the streets was tough for Umar, he was beaten and his belongings were stolen. He had no money and went without meals. After a year of street life he was given the opportunity to go to our Homes. Umar’s life has dramatically improved and he hopes to be a dentist one day.
